How Bucks County Waterproofing and Its Partners Work
Who answers the phone, who does the work in your basement, how this site earns its money and what we check before a contractor gets your call.
Who we are
Bucks County Waterproofing is a marketing company, not a waterproofing contractor. We run this website and the phone number on it. We don't employ waterproofing crews, own equipment or perform any work in homes.

Who does the work
When you call or send the form, your request goes to an independent waterproofing company that works in Bucks County. That company inspects the basement, gives the written price, does the work and stands behind it. Your contract for any work is with that company, not with Bucks County Waterproofing.
{{TODO: confirm Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor registration and liability insurance for each partner company in this market. Until confirmed, the site does not describe partners as registered, licensed or insured.}}
How this site is paid
Partner companies pay Bucks County Waterproofing for the calls and requests the site sends them. You don't pay us anything. Calling the number or sending the form doesn't commit you to hiring anyone, and you only pay the company that comes out for work you agree to in writing.
What we check and what we don't
{{TODO: describe what is checked before a company receives calls, for example service area, the type of work it handles, registration and insurance}}
We don't supervise the work or set prices, and we don't promise any result. Any warranty on a drain system, pump or repair comes from the company that installs it, in its own written terms.
Checking a contractor's registration
Pennsylvania requires most home improvement contractors to register with the Office of Attorney General. You can look up any company's registration on the Attorney General's home improvement contractor registration page before signing a contract. Pennsylvania's Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act also sets rules for what a written home improvement contract has to include and when you can cancel it.
Information on this site
The pages here explain how basement water problems are usually diagnosed and fixed. They're general information, not an inspection of your house, and not engineering or legal advice. A structural crack, a bowing wall or a question about your insurance policy needs someone who can see the house or read the policy.
Images
The photos on this site were generated with Google's Stitch image tool, and the diagrams were drawn for the site. Both illustrate basement problems and waterproofing work in general. They don't show a real house, job, worker or company.
